IT Network Administrator
YOUR TASKS/JOB DESCRIPTION
• Operating communications networks and services
• Monitoring the functionality and capacity of networks and network services
• Fault-analysis in case of errors, based on monitoring systems or raised by users
• Locating and correcting error states in networks and network services
• Managing a technical inventory of all installed and stored network components and services
• Documentation of problems and their solutions
• Documentation of system states
• Providing availability statistics
YOUR PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS
• A bachelor degree / education in computer science or equivalent
• Several years of work experience in network administration of a medium or large network
• Know-How about Cisco networking concepts in general and usage of Cisco IOS specifically
• Knowledge about Wireless networking operations using Cisco ISE and WLC
• Experience using networking monitoring/management software, ideally Solarwinds, MACmon and/or PRTG
• You are a team player and excellent communicator
• You are fluent in speech and writing in German and/or French
• Willingness to learn new processes and tools
• Readiness to work with a high degree of technical responsibility for our companies most critical processes
• A resilient person who keeps a cool head in stressful situations
• Flexibility regarding working time, such as (planned) work on weekends and (compensated) on-call duty
