We’re hiring a Controller (m/f) in Zagreb.

We’re building a strong Finance & Controlling team in Zagreb to support Manor AG, Switzerland’s leading department store group (food & non-food, omnichannel, stores + online). 

This role is for you if you don’t want to “just report numbers” but want to understand what’s behind them, sharpen your analytical craft, and see your work directly support key commercial and financial decisions.

💡 What you’ll do:

As a Controller (m/f), you’ll work closely with the Finance organization in Basel, taking ownership of the detailed analytical and reporting work that keeps the business running: 

    • Budgeting & forecasting support (sales, margins, OPEX, CAPEX)
    • Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing tasks
    • Financial and commercial analyses (sales, margins, suppliers, stores, costs) 
    • Management reporting & dashboards (Excel, Power BI) 
    • Variance analyses and data preparation for scenarios and decision support 
    • Process improvements, automation, AI and smarter reporting 

    🎯 Who we’re looking for: 

    • >2 years of work experience in analytical roles (e.g. controller, analyst, etc.) 
    • Background in business, economics, finance or related fields is an advantage 
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel 
    • Knowledge and interest in Power BI, automation, AI and modern finance tools 
    • Fluency in English; German or French is an asset but not mandatory 
    • Microsoft suite knowledge and ERP-savvy an asset 
    • Comfortable with high workload and tight deadlines
