IT Service Desk POS Specialist

60% Office / 40% Remote, Croatia

YOUR TASKS/JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide first-line technical support for POS systems and related peripherals (e.g., cash registers, payment terminals, mobile devices).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with POS systems, ensuring their smooth operation and minimal downtime.
• Assist in maintaining and updating operational manuals and technical documentation related to POS systems.
• Respond to user requests and provide solutions for hardware, software, and network-related problems via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
• Prioritize and manage multiple support requests using the company’s ticketing system (e.g., TopDesk), escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams, company headquarters, stores, and distribution centers to ensure the optimal performance of IT systems and POS-related processes.

YOUR PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years working with POS systems.
• Understanding of retail IT processes and POS system maintenance.
• Proficiency in SAP, DFO, POS systems, MS Office, and Teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle technical issues.
